Welcome to the blog! We like to talk about stuff in Utah, mostly housing related but a little about the community too. Please leave comments if you have anything to say!

As The Utah Real Estate Blog Turns

Greener PasturesThere’s a good reason that I haven’t posted to The Utah Real Estate Blog in a long time. When I was posting regularly, I was a full-time real estate agent. Because of reasons I am sure you can imagine, I left the real estate business and pursued other things that I had more of a passion for. That said, I still try to keep up on what’s happening in the community, even though I’m not actively selling real estate in it.

So what do I do with this blog? Well, I have thought a little bit and I think I will keep it. It’s been a nice blog to have and I rather liked posting to it. Though I am not working in real estate anymore, I think I will still post about things happening in the city. It was kind of turning into a community blog anyway, so I’ll keep with that path and write occasionally about the happenings I see or hear. I suppose I’ll keep the title just for fun.

So feel free to check back regularly as I hope to have more content in the future than I have had in the recent past. Maybe I’ll write about Utah homes I like, maybe about events, or maybe about whatever I want. I guess you’ll have to come back and see.

Blogging, blogging everywhere

I’m thrilled to see that blogging is becoming the norm rather than the exception. I’m even more thrilled that I’m not one of the latecomers, although late is better than never.

Invitation to be a member of different blogging communities have been pouring into my inbox as of late. It seems that now everybody wants to create an online blogging community full of local experts. I see this as only positive, since it affords bloggers more forums to share their creativity.

On top of that, my own family members are jumping on the blogging bandwagon. Before long, blogging just might be our preferred method of communication!

I can only say thank you to Activerain for being a place where I have been able to catch on to this blogging thing – and just in time too.
