Here is a Salt Lake county parks and recreation resource*

In the past I’ve been asked where parents can go in in Salt Lake county to find out about sports programs for their kids and recreation for themselves and their families.

The best website is without a doubt the Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation site, which can be found at www.recreation.slco.org. This site contains everything you want to know about parks in Salt Lake county, golf courses, and recreational programs. This is where you should go to sign up kids for youth sports or to sign up for fitness classes. It also has addresses to fitness centers around the valley.

If you are looking more for competitive sports programs for your kids, then there are other sites to visit. For example, there is a comprehensive list of competition soccer teams at www.uysa.org. Sites like this will have tryout schedules and anything else you might want to know.
